Professional background : Self employed, I own an automotive car business providing repairs, servicing and transportation across Europe.
Parish Council : Joined the council in 2020.
Personal : I’ve lived all my life in Ruckinge! I’m a dog walker and through that exercise I often meet residents. I find it an excellent way to share information and keep in touch with people who might not be online. I also enjoy gardening.
Tracey Bennett
Professional background : I was a therapeutic foster carer for many years. I now look after a young adult with autism two days a week which I thoroughly enjoy.
Parish Council : I joined in early 2022
Personal : I moved to Ruckinge 3 years ago having previously lived in New Romney for 44 years. I have been married for 36 years. I was a therapeutic foster carer for many years. I have two birth children and two children who I fostered for 16 years.

Professional Background: Qualified Public Relations and events manager. Worked for Unilever, ICI and latterly Givaudan before starting own consultancy.
Elected : Member for Saxon Shore Ward since May 2019.
Personal: Settled in Giggers Green Road, Aldington in 2006, became involved in planning issues during development of the Ashford Local Plan 2030. Is passionate about planning to protect the environment and rural quality of life.
